About group work

I understood pair work and group work are important.
I often did group work when I am a junior high school student. I think group work is very useful. Because there are not students who are boring. Everyone has something to do.
And for example, if there is very shy students, by group work, they may easy to say own opinions.
But by contraries, if students put together group members thoughts, there is possibility that teacher can't listen to minority opinions.
There are problems in group work.
By group work, student may be noisy. And they may not listen to teacher says. Teacher must say "Be quiet!".

First,I leaned about important things to be a teacher.
For example, to greet students cheerfully, to speak to students by myself, to have a lot of experience, to smile. I understood these are important things for teachers.
I thought that teachers should be active, should not be shy. Teachers should speak to students and teach cheerfully.

Second, we thought about necessary things for English teachers.
Our group thought "those are to speak English well, not to speak Japanese, to enjoy English, to praise students.
Mr.M praised us " Everyone understand about important things well !"

Third, we watched video.
I leaned new thing. It is "ジグソー学習"(Sorry, I don't know this word in English.). Mr.M made four groups in class. And he gave the assignment each groups.
By "ジグソー学習", everyone were given the assignment . So everyone were not boring then.
I understood pair work and group work are very important again.

Finally, I thought not only teachers make the lesson. Everyone (Teacher and students) make the lesson.

☆★My Music Band☆★

I like music very much.
I join forces with a band. It is not in Iwate university. We performance in a live concert once a month . Sometime twice a month.
There are 5 people in my band. There are two vocalist, one basist, guiterist, drammer. We have 6 songs now. We play 6 songs in the live concert.
I am a vocalist. And other vocal is a man. He works at shop. He is a 25 years old. Basist and drammer are 18 years old. I think they are very young. Guiterist is a 22 years old. He is friendly. And I'm a 20 years old.
We make songs by ourselfs.So at first, it is very difficult for me. I like sing songs. My music band plays pop music. I like rock music and pop music. We will performance in the live June 17.
I'm going to enjoy the live.

①Write a reflection about your lesson.
I think our lesson was good. Because it was advanced smoothly. But mainly, few members advanced lesson. Other members only repeated words, almost. So I thought also other members should have done some activities more. Because all members in group were teacher in lesson.
We could teach only in English. If students are Japanese, I may use Japanese. I understood we can teach English only in English.

②Ｗｈａｔ did you set out to teach ?
I repeated words aloud voice. I thought, by repeating aloud, students repeat aloud voice. And I painted picture. To teach new words, I planed to explain meaning those words by picture.

③What activities did you plan ?
I planed to write words on the blackboad. For example, write words on the blackboad. For example, "this" and "that". If students can't read these words, they may be able to understand by pointing Blackboad and aloud these words.

④What were the most successful parts of your lesson ?
The most successful parts of our lesson is repeating same phrases many time. By repeating many time, students can speak important phrases. And by speaking English with gesture, students can understand meaning. I think it was good to use many gesture in lesson.

⑤Would you teach this lesson differently if you thought it again ?
⑥What were the least successful parts ?
The least successful parts were repeating phrases. By repeat important phrases many time, students memorize those phrases phrases many time, students memorize those phrases. But only rereat many time for those phrases. But only rereat many time for a long time, students may be boring, I thought.

☆My Experience as a Language Learner ☆

１）My most enjoyable language learning experience has been homrstay visit to Australia.
I couldn't speak English well. But I think I could enjoy conversation , genuinely. I talked by gesture and speaking words. I never forget that.

2)My least enjoyable activity has been entrance exam study.
Because I want to be good at doing conversation. Studying grammar and memorization are more important than speaking English cheerfully in entrance exam study. Only studying grammar and memorization , maybe I'm tired.

3)My most valuable has been conversation.
Because I can become to be accustom to speaking English by conversation. And I can learn meaning of words by studying it. I can't do conversation well, but I can become to talk well in English by conversation.

4)My least valuable has been reading aloud.
Of course, I can't affirm it least valuable. I think there is difference between being able to reading words and being able to speak English by myself. We should read words with meaning.

5)In general, my language learning experiencehas been memorization and grammar.
Because I almost studied grammer when I was a junior high school student. It also in high school.

I study English in university now.
Sometime,I think English is very difficult for me. But I like English.

When I was 5 years old, I remembered watching video.
That was a fairy tale of English. I didn't know English then.

when I was a junior high school student, I studied English at the first time.
And I was a third grade in junior high school, I have been to Australia.
I felt it is interesting to speak English.

Also, I studied English in high school. And I am studing English in university now.

First,I'm going to introduse myself.
I'm a university student. I want to be a elementary school teacher in the future.
So,I study to be a teacher in university.

why is my name, ice cream?
because I like ice cream very much!! Do you like ice cream?
Maybe all season, I eat ice cream.
